6 or 7 - the number of days per week I have been working this summer (for the most part). It's kicked my butt too! I am so thankful that I am able to go to school to complete my education so I can enjoy my career one day as a teacher.
8.5 - the number of hours per day I spend at PepsiLand. Sounds something like CandyLand...I'd much rather play CandyLand than go to PepsiLand.
110 - the temperature in my work area last night. No joke. It got up to 115 yesterday. Thank goodness 3rd shift is slightly cooler than 1st and 2nd. I drank 8 bottles of water last night, sweat more than I thought one person was capable of, and I still got dehydrated...not cool...no pun intended.
12 - the number of days I have left at Pepsi!!! I am somewhat sad though. Not because I will miss working, because believe me I do not enjoy this job what-so-ever. But I will miss the people I work with. I have met a lot of new people this summer and gotten to know them. At the beginning of the summer I was very anxious about it, going into work not knowing anyone I was working with. But God has really blessed me by giving me the opportunity to get to know them and share a little bit of life with them for the past few months. I'm even more sad that this is probably going to be my last summer at Pepsi. I get slightly attached to the people I work with...in case you couldn't tell.
Summer has FLOWN by...as usual. I am looking forward to getting back to school (not for over a month, thank goodness). I miss all my friends! I am very excited about the Small Group I will be leading for ladies this semester too. I can't wait to get to work with some more kiddos for my classes. Then comes student teaching in the spring...woah!!! I'm so excited!!!
