Day 7

Well friends, today was my last first day of classes as a student. It hasn't totally sunk in yet...that I'm graduating in 8 months and 6 days (not that I'm counting...).

I'm just a tad bit overwhelmed from my classes today. I love how professors will say, "I don't want you all to get totally overwhelmed on the first day, but here's what all you are going to have to do this semester." I mean, come on, really? If you have to say, "I don't want you all to get totally overwhelmed..." you probably should not say what you are planning to say after that...just my opinion.

Day 7 - 4 Books

I'm such a huge bookworm and book-nerd (yes, I coined that term, I like it a lot). So this one is going to be tough...but here goes.

1. My Bible - not to be cliche, but I love my Bible. It always, always, ALWAYS brings me comfort and clarity and makes me feel as though my Heavenly Father is sitting right beside me when I crack it open and read.

2. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - my all-time favorite children's book. I read it for the first time in 3rd grade, and when I saw the movie (the old one) I fell in love and it was like a match made in Heaven!

3. Crazy Love - wonderful book. Made me look at things so much differently and was the beginning of my realizing just how much God loves us all.

4. Boy Meets Girl - I read this book this past spring, and then I gave it to Zach to read. He just gave it back to me yesterday. It was a great book that shows how true, God focused relationships are supposed to be. It gave me a lot of encouragement and inspiration as well.
