Alive & Kickin'

Woah...I'm already 3 weeks into my Senior year...it is flying by, and this makes me sad. On the bright side, I am getting to work with kiddos already and even though it stresses me out and scares me to have so much responsibility and pressure put on me to make sure this one student improves, I love it! It is so crazy how fast it's all going though, and even crazier to think that in less than a year I could have my own classroom full of crazy, awesome kids!

Zach and I saw Captain America last night...it...was...awesome! Except the ending! I was not a fan of the ending. Zach liked it, I did not. Left everything wide open, and I hate movies that end like that. Zach, being the adventure lover that he is, thought it was great.

I am going to finish this 10 Day You Challenge! It's just taken me quite a bit longer than 10 days...it happens :)

Day 9 - 2 Songs

1. Do Everything by Steven Curtis Chapman - I love this song. It reminds me that everything I do is to glorify God, even the little things in life! It is also a reminder that no matter what we have been called to do in life, it all matters to God, and we cannot compare ourselves to others because we are all unique and have been called to do our own thing for God.

2. All the Heavens by Third Day - this song has been played several times at Zach's church when I have gone with him. They played it last weekend and I kinda sorta fell in love with it. It's just a calming song and one to add to my list of songs that remind me of God's love for us and it encourages me to make Him first in my life!

Ooooooh! I got to meet Jason Castro this week. I wasn't a big fan of him, hadn't listened to a lot of his music (didn't even know I was hearing his song on Klove!). He was at USI for an I Am Second event, and we got to meet him, get our picture taken, and get his autograph. It was pretty neat. He is a very humble, laid back kind of guy, and he was very inspiring!
