Hey y'all...sorry, I have been a bit of a blogger-slacker recently. Good news is, I am still alive and kicking (literally on Monday nights at Cardio Kick, haha).
School is kinda taking over my life right now. It is the middle of the semester (HOLY COW!) and I am loving it, despite the stress and business of it all! I have been blessed to get to work with an absolutely adorable 1st grader 2 days a week, and I just started working with a 4th grade class last week and I will be with them until the end of November. Throw in my occasional visits to the middle school where I will be doing part of my student teaching, and I am driving more than I ever cared to in just 1 week! Even though this weekend and Monday and Tuesday are my Fall Break, I will be spending all day Tuesday with my 4th graders to get in my Field Experience hours...and I'm super excited!!! I love being able to apply what I have been learning for the past 3 years! And I have quickly discovered that I like 4th graders a lot, because I can be kinda sarcastic with them ;)
What else is new in my life? Not a whole lot!
Zach and I have been together for almost 8 months...WOW! It is so hard to believe. It has all gone so fast and it has been great. I just don't know what I would do without him.
So recently, God has REALLY been testing and working on my patience...y'all know I don't have a lot of patience, at all. There are a lot of things that I want the answers to, like, right now. And He isn't giving them to me, and I know that if He did I would probably be incredibly overwhelmed and wishing that I had just waited on His timing in the first place...this is why He does indeed give us answers as He knows we can handle them. There are a lot of questions about my future that I am insanely curious about...and I am just going to have to wait, living one day at a time :)
